Caution...YOU ARE ENTERING TIGER COUNTRY!! The Wellington-Napoleon R-IX School District is a great place to be. We are truly a close 'family' with a country feel yet close to Kansas City. We have approximately 400 students in grades K-12 with close to 50 employees dedicated to our kids.
We believe it takes the BIG THREE to be a successful district...great kids, quality staff, and supportive community. We are fortunate enough to have the best of all three and our performance speaks for itself. We have had a perfect score on our Annual Performance Report from the state for four years in a row. This puts our district in rare company and we are proud to be an ACCREDITED WITH DISTINCTION SCHOOL DISTRICT once again! We have numerous conference, district, state, and even national accolades for performances in the classroom, competitions, and on the field.
