The Wellington-Napoleon R-IX School District is a great place to raise a family with a ‘country feel’ yet close to Kansas City. We have approximately 400 students in grades K-12 with close to 50 employees dedicated to our kids.
Welcome to our website…you are now in Tiger Country! We believe it takes the BIG THREE to be successful…great KIDS, involved and caring PARENTS/COMMUNITY, and a qualified and dedicated STAFF. We have the best of all three and the proof is in the pudding. We have been awarded the Distinction in Performance Award for three straight years. W-N has been first in Lafayette County in both reading and math state test scores for several years running. We have had numerous recent success at the local and state level in many arenas. It is a great time to be a Tiger!
